Travel along with goddess Athena in the Acropolis Museum

The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. It provides a safe and fabulous home for the masterpieces of the Acropolis and ensures that they are given the prominence that they deserve.

The new Acropolis Museum has a total area of 25,000 square meters, with exhibition space of over 14,000 square meters.

The building, constructed from concrete and glass, is a masterpiece and strikes a dramatic chord in the historical area of Makriyianni next to the Acropolis metro station. Visitors to the Acropolis Museum can view the excavation of the ancient city through the openings and glass floors at the ground level of the Museum.

Let us guide you into a playful tour with history, myths, drawings and exploration. By entering the museum a whole new world awaits to be discovered. Children of all ages have something new to learn and cherish from their trip to Greece. History in color and stories that fascinate children’s minds.

Become an ancient Athenian in the Acropolis Museum!

The whole family celebrates in ancient Athens! How did the ancient Athenians  enjoy themselves and what did they like to do? Where did they go for a walk and what did they play? The beauty of ancient Athens of the 5th century B.C. is revealed through the vases, the statues and the sculptures of Parthenon! At the end of the tour we create our own clay necklace with the symbols of the goddess Athena!
